Rooms and suites at the Dakota Dunes Resort are guaranteed for 3:00 pm. However, you can arrive earlier to enjoy our facilities. Check out time is 11:00 am, but you still have access to the site for the rest of the day.

When you arrive, we will ask you to pay the cost of your stay and a deposit of $500 (for rooms) or $750 (for suites) for incidentals, either by credit card, debit card or in cash (except for prepaid offers). We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express Credit Cards.
A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. However, if you prefer to pay with cash upon arrival, you may do so. Full payment for your stay is required at check-in, along with a refundable deposit of $500 for standard rooms or $750 for suites.
The best way to stay up to date on all our promotions, including exclusive discounts and specials, is to join our eClub. You can also follow our Facebook page or our Instagram account, where we regularly update our guests on upcoming promotions.
All guestrooms on the 2nd floor are pet-friendly rooms. The resort accepts 2 dogs per room; all sizes are welcome. Each four-legged guest will get a dog bed, food and water bowl and a treat bag per stay. A $50 cleaning fee per stay, per dog, will be added to the bill to ensure the room receives a deep clean upon departure.
Please note that for hygienic reasons, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, etc., are not accepted.

Dakota Dunes will open Canada’s first Indigenous-inspired thermal spa in late 2026. The facility will feature 9 pools, numerous saunas, fires and personal wellness services.
The recreation area features multiple on-site entertainment options. Dakota Dunes Casino offers over 80,000 sq. Ft. of entertainment with more than 620 slots, 18 table games, poker, a high limit gaming room and a variety of dining options. Take in our rooftop indoor pool and state-of-the-art fitness centre, or enjoy seasonal adventures such as golf, e-bikes, Bannock & Bonfire, canoeing, and stargazing.

We are happy to provide all our guests at the Dakota Dunes Resort with towels and robes so they can make the most of our hotel’s facilities.
Restaurants
We are excited to welcome you to our own Moose Woods Home Fire Grill, located inside the hotel. The onsite restaurant and bar has a large outdoor terrace, signature dishes, a wine list, desserts, local and organic products, and a variety of seating options, including booths, bar seating, lounge seating, and private dining areas. You can also choose to dine in the Casino, or seasonally at the Taté Taŋka Resto-Lounge at Dakota Dunes Golf Links.
Breakfast is not included with a reservation unless it is a Stay-for-Breakfast package or another package that explicitly states breakfast is included.
While not necessary, our restaurant does fill quickly, so a reservation should be made to guarantee a table. The front desk will be happy to make a reservation on your behalf. We look forward to welcoming you on your next visit so you can try our delicious signature dishes.
On-site and Surroundings
A state-of-the-art fitness centre is accessible for guests staying at the Dakota Dunes Resort. You may need your key card to access the fitness centre, so please make sure to carry it with you at all times while on-premises.
All public areas, as well as rooms and suites, are non-smoking. However, there is a designated smoking area outside the hotel and a smoking room inside the Casino.
